Description

N26 is hiring a Product Designer for its UX team within the Grow & Engage domain, which spans customer acquisition, the home screen, in-app discovery, AI-powered insights, and the Smart, Go, and Metal subscription tiers. The designer will own features end-to-end—from problem framing and research through exploration to shipped work—for a fintech product used by millions. The role emphasises a high bar for UI and interaction craft, systems thinking across connected product areas, and fluent use of AI tools in the design process. You will work in a cross-functional team of product, engineering, research, and data partners and report to the Head of UX. A strong portfolio of end-to-end consumer (ideally mobile) product design is required.

Requirements

  • A strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work on consumer products, ideally mobile
  • Experience taking complex feature work from problem to ship, owning the design throughout
  • Experience working with a design system: using it, contributing to it, and knowing when to push back on it
  • Experience grounding decisions in research and data, and willingness to seek them out when unavailable
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to explain decisions to product, engineering, and leadership
