Description

AWS Compliance and Security Assurance EMEA is hiring a Senior Security Assurance Specialist to demonstrate AWS's security controls to regulators and its most regulatory-conscious customers. The role dives deep into the Amazon control environment, maps controls to regulated-industry requirements and frameworks (such as DORA, ISAE 3402, COBIT, ITIL and IT-Grundschutz), and liaises with customers, regulators and auditors as a trusted advisor. It also drives continuous improvement and process engineering across security and compliance programs. The position bridges security, technology and compliance and requires deep audit experience in highly regulated industries.

Requirements

  • Must be a national of an EU member state
  • Bachelor's, master's or diploma in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, accounting/auditing, cybersecurity or a related field
  • 10+ years performing or participating in IT audits and assessments of highly technical cloud-based environments
  • 10+ years working in highly regulated industries (e.g. financial services, healthcare, energy, telecommunications), including direct work with European audits and frameworks such as DORA
  • Experience conducting IT audits based on ISAE 3402, and auditing COBIT, ITIL and IT-Grundschutz
  • One or more industry-recognised security, cloud or audit certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, AWS Cloud Security)
  • Business-level fluency in English
