Description

adjoe, a Hamburg-based adtech company behind the Playtime Arcade rewarded-advertising product, is hiring a Senior Go Backend Developer for its Dashboard Analytics team. The team builds campaign-management APIs, analytics engines, and high-throughput tools that process and render real-time analytics across 50M+ daily events using Go, Kafka, and Druid. You will design and operate microservice architectures with event buses (Kafka, SQS/SNS), optimise queries on columnar (Druid) and relational (MySQL) databases, and expose partner-facing data through well-documented APIs. The role requires 5+ years in software development with 3+ years building production Go services on high-traffic systems. It is a hybrid role in Hamburg with relocation support.

Requirements

  • Go as your primary language at scale, with 5+ years in software development and 3+ years building production Go services
  • Experience with high-traffic systems handling 100M+ requests per day, including profiling and optimizing Go applications
  • Ability to design and operate microservice architectures using event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS
  • Experience with columnar databases like Druid and relational databases like MySQL, optimizing queries for millisecond response times
  • Experience providing partner-facing raw or aggregated data through well-documented open APIs backed by TypeScript/React dashboards
