Description

As a Senior Software Developer Test you develop and implement automated software tests for Rohde & Schwarz hardware products. You extend and maintain the Python3-based test framework, build test cases, procedures and test environments, and configure Linux systems for specific hardware and applications. You also configure and administer CI/CD tooling such as GitLab CI, track features and tasks in Jira, and maintain the test documentation. The role requires a degree in computer science or engineering and solid experience in object-oriented software design and test automation at hardware level.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field
  • Very good knowledge of the design and implementation of object-oriented software (C, C++, especially Python3)
  • Solid experience developing test frameworks, automating software tests at hardware level, and with test and integration processes
  • Solid experience with Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of clean-code principles and PEP8
  • Confident use of Git and Jira
  • Very good spoken and written German and English
