Description

HelloFresh is hiring a Senior BI Analyst for its Reporting & BI team to own the data landscape of a specific business domain. You will build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers executive decision-making, from ETL/ELT pipelines (dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, Airflow) to executive-level dashboards (Tableau) and deep-dive analyses. The role combines analytical depth with data-engineering capability, owning end-to-end delivery from raw ingestion through transformation to strategic recommendations for C-suite stakeholders. It requires 6+ years in BI analytics or data engineering, advanced SQL, modern data-stack tools, and strong data-modeling expertise.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in BI analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering, ideally in a fast-paced B2C, subscription, or growth business
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and data pipeline experience, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and building/troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Databricks, Spark SQL, and Airflow
  • Data modeling expertise, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and designing scalable data models
  • Proven ability to build and maintain BI dashboards (Tableau, Databricks, Looker, or similar) that reach senior leadership
  • Stakeholder management experience translating ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical work
  • Ownership mindset with accountability for data quality and delivery
