
Facilities Manager (m/f/d)
Description
On-site Facilities Manager taking full ownership of Flix's Munich headquarters office, ensuring it runs safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role leads day-to-day facilities operations, manages a small team of 2-3 plus contracted maintenance providers, and coordinates maintenance of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire and life safety) with the landlord. It also covers facility refurbishments, CAFM data management, environmental and sustainability reporting, vendor contract administration, and budget planning. The role serves as the primary on-site contact and collaborates across IT, Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or a comparable role with a strong track record in maintenance, project management, and vendor oversight
- Proven supervisory experience leading a small team and contracted service providers
- Solid knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) and ability to interpret construction plans and technical documentation
- Experience with CAFM systems and proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and a customer-service mindset
- Fluent in German and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
