Description

Celonis is hiring a Director of Value Engineering for the CPG & Retail segment across the DACH region, based at its Munich headquarters. As a player-coach, the Director leads a team of six to seven Value Engineers and owns ARR, renewal, and net-retention targets while serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives at major retail and consumer-goods brands. The role blends process-transformation consulting, executive advisory, and enterprise-AI adoption using the Celonis platform, and drives partner strategy and industry thought leadership. It requires business-fluent German and fluent English, deep CPG/Retail domain expertise, and a track record leading pre-sales, consulting, or value-engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Native or business-fluent German (spoken and written) and fluent English
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Munich, with willingness to travel to customer sites across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
  • Track record leading pre-sales, management consulting, or value engineering teams within Enterprise SaaS, Enterprise AI, or Management Consulting
  • Deep domain expertise in supply chain, procurement, fulfillment, and operational processes within the CPG & Retail industries
  • Demonstrated ability to directly manage or mentor a team of 6-7 high-performing individual contributors
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning ACV, net retention, and renewal pipeline metrics
  • Outstanding executive presence with a proven track record of building C-level relationships across global brands and regional retail leaders
