Description

As a Junior Software Engineer on Zalando's Risk & Abuse Management (RAM) Platform team, you help build the foundational technology that protects the business and its customers. You engineer and maintain machine-learning and streaming infrastructure that enables real-time discovery, assessment and mitigation of risks from bad actors, working closely with a team of six experienced engineers who mentor you. A solid software-engineering foundation, proficiency in a backend language (Java preferred, or Python/Scala/Go) and a desire to learn streaming technologies (Apache Flink) and ML infrastructure are expected. The role follows a hybrid model of up to 60% remote work with flexible working times.
