Description

Rohde & Schwarz seeks a Senior MLOps Engineer to take AI models from prototype to production in a scalable and robust way. You will implement and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, and deployment, containerize AI applications for hybrid cloud and on-premise environments, and deploy models on Kubernetes, Azure, and edge target systems. Responsibilities include monitoring, logging, drift detection, and A/B testing for production models, as well as ensuring reproducibility and experiment tracking across the model lifecycle. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers to make prototypes production-ready. The role is based in Dresden, Germany.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in MLOps or a comparable role, particularly deploying models on cloud and on-premise infrastructures
  • Solid Python skills
  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Podman), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD/GitOps workflows (GitLab, Helm charts)
  • Experience with ML lifecycle tools such as experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring, as well as deployment considerations for edge and low-power environments
  • Strong automation and reliability mindset and strong troubleshooting skills at both infrastructure and model level
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Very good written and spoken English
