Maintenance Technician
Description
As a Maintenance Technician on Amazon's Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team in Pforzheim, you are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of conveyor systems, building services and production equipment. You help ensure the highest occupational safety standards and prevent machine downtime, keeping technical systems highly available and improving equipment quality. Day-to-day work covers preventive maintenance, repairs and fault diagnosis across a wide variety of equipment. You also support apprentices and contribute to continuous improvement projects and best-practice rollouts across EU sites.
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training recognised by the IHK or HWK, or a completed engineering degree (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related) from a German or recognised foreign university
- At least two years of professional experience in the relevant trade
- Experience maintaining industrial production equipment
- Advanced written and spoken German
