Description

Flix (FlixBus/FlixTrain) is hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer for its IT Infrastructure Services team in Berlin, which designs and manages global cloud and on-premises infrastructure for internal business services. The role leads maintenance and improvement of the global identity and access management (IAM) platform as a set of highly available services, integrating applications via SSO and improving role-based access control. It also involves automating recurring tasks, consulting other teams, and designing the future IT infrastructure. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, modern authentication protocols, scripting, and infrastructure as code is required.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Entra ID or similar identity and access management platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of modern authentication protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML)
  • At least 3 years of scripting experience (ideally Python)
  • At least 1 year of experience with IaC solutions (preferably Terraform)
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and daily operations
  • Basic experience using APIs
