Requirements
- 8+ years of frontend experience building and operating complex, consumer-facing web applications at scale using React, Next.js/SSR and TypeScript
- Expert knowledge of the DOM, browser rendering optimization, web performance profiling tools, state management strategies and HTTP/media protocol fundamentals
- Understanding of how media is delivered to and played in modern web browsers, with familiarity with HLS, DASH, Widevine, FairPlay and CORS
- Championing AI adoption across the team, experimenting with coding agents and sharing reusable prompts and skills
- Committed to maintainable code, test-driven development (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright) and strong CI/CD practices
- Clear and articulate technical communication in an agile, cross-functional engineering organisation
- An independent mindset and genuine curiosity about how the product is used
