Description

Rohde & Schwarz is looking for a Project Manager for R&D in the SIGINT/EW domain, based in Munich. The role defines project goals with stakeholders, creates detailed project plans and milestone schedules, coordinates internal dependencies and external partners, and plans resources. It also identifies and mitigates system-level risks, monitors progress against time, budget and quality KPIs, and ensures project transparency through regular status reports. Candidates need a technical degree, extensive project management experience with complex technical systems, proficiency with tools such as MS Project and Jira, and business-fluent German and English. This is a full-time permanent position.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, physics, aerospace engineering or a comparable technical field, with extensive experience in project management of complex technical systems, ideally in systems engineering
  • Confident use of modern project management methods and tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira) and experience leading interdisciplinary teams
  • Basic knowledge of communications and radar technology and interest in security-relevant solutions in government and military contexts
  • Ability to make well-founded decisions in context and represent them at various levels
  • High customer orientation, entrepreneurial thinking and ability to communicate complex technical matters to the target audience
  • Business-fluent written and spoken German and English, willing to travel occasionally
