Workplace Health & Safety Specialist
Description
Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist to keep employees at one of its logistics sites working in a safe and healthy environment. You proactively monitor site performance against defined KPIs and create plans to improve processes, develop safety programs and plan trainings. You evaluate safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues focus resources on the highest-risk areas, and conduct audits to ensure compliance with occupational safety law. You work on-site at a fulfilment centre, sort centre or delivery station.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification per the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)
- Certification as an occupational safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, per §6 ASiG)
- Knowledge of German occupational health and safety legislation
- Fluent German and very good English (B2), written and spoken
