Description

As Business Development Manager at FlixTrain, you take full ownership of high-impact projects and partnerships that shape the future of the on-board customer experience. You identify opportunities, build solutions from the ground up, and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects while maintaining strong day-to-day partner relationships. Responsibilities include establishing project management structures and reporting formats with KPI tracking, and preparing presentations for senior management. The role requires a degree in business administration or a related field, at least three years of experience in operations consulting or cross-functional project management (ideally in the railway industry), and full working proficiency in both English and German (C1).

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration, business & logistics, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operations consulting or the management of cross-functional projects with several external partners, preferably in the railway industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills (including PowerPoint)
  • A track record of successfully implementing complex projects
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with the drive to continuously improve existing structures
  • Full working proficiency in both English and German (both at least C1 level)
