Description

You develop receiver and transmitter chains for radio communication and take ideas through to series maturity. You design high-frequency and analog electronics assemblies, in particular small-signal transmitter and receiver chains for radio communication devices in the HF, VHF and UHF ranges. You create concepts, architectures and circuits, provide technical guidance to international teams, and research and evaluate suitable components. You optimize and release PCB layouts with the design department, commission and verify prototypes, and run HF-relevant tests while analyzing device-integration results. The role is based in Stuttgart within Rohde & Schwarz hardware development.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in electrical and information engineering or a comparable field, with in-depth knowledge of high-frequency engineering.
  • Many years of experience developing small-signal paths, in particular transmitter and receiver chains in analog radio front-ends.
  • Experience using AWR Microwave Office, CST Microwave Studio, CR-8000, LTspice or comparable tools.
  • Team-oriented and willing to travel.
  • Very good German and good English, written and spoken.
