Description

You integrate product features into Linux- and Windows-based system and customer environments and create the necessary integration guides and deployment solutions. You automate deployment, integration and operations processes with Shell, Python or comparable tools to ensure traceable, repeatable rollouts. Together with the operations team you support maintenance, error analysis and troubleshooting in customer environments, and you accompany rollouts and commissioning on-site at customers. You also evolve the internal development and integration infrastructure and capture lessons learned in technical documentation, runbooks and best practices. The role sits within ipoque, a Rohde & Schwarz company specializing in IP network analytics.

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, an IT apprenticeship (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of hands-on experience as a system engineer, Linux engineer, DevOps engineer, IT system administrator or in a comparable technical role.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux- and Windows-based system environments and experience with system integration, deployment and technical troubleshooting.
  • Automation of recurring tasks and processes with Shell/Bash, Python or comparable scripting and automation solutions.
  • Willingness to take on customer assignments on-site and regularly accompany rollouts and commissioning.
  • Business-fluent German and English.
