Description

You lead a team of currently 15 employees and guide its transformation toward modern technologies and development approaches. You are responsible for developing and maintaining applications in the production-related environment (MES/COTS, Smart Factory, production digitalization), including 2nd-level support as well as change and release management. You steer the transformation of existing applications toward a standardized, cross-site and future-proof IT architecture in close coordination with solution architects, and ensure IT projects are delivered on time, on budget and to quality standards. You actively advance modern software engineering and DevOps practices and ensure stable, reliable operation of shopfloor applications. The role is based at the Memmingen manufacturing site.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in disciplinary leadership of teams.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented software development with .NET/C# and of web technologies and frameworks, ideally Blazor and Web APIs.
  • Solid knowledge of modern DevOps practices, in particular CI/CD, Git-based development processes, containerization and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of modern integration architectures and technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs, event streaming and message brokers).
  • Experience with agile and agent-based software development.
  • Independent, analytical and structured working style, confident demeanor, enthusiasm, service orientation, and very good German and English (at least level B2).
