Description

You build automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and you maintain and scale the test infrastructure for a stable development environment. You analyze failing builds, create detailed bug reports and work closely with the development teams. You define quality metrics, monitor them continuously and produce reports for management. You advise development teams on testable architecture and best practices such as TDD and BDD, and you optimize existing test processes while driving automation forward. The role is within Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity in Cologne.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in automated software testing and familiarity with common test frameworks.
  • Very good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, TypeScript) and practical experience operating CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure automation (Windows, Linux, Docker).
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication and teamwork skills, and experience as an interface between development and QA.
  • Very good German and English, written and spoken.
