Quality Manager (all genders)
Description
As Quality Manager at HelloFresh's Factor_ production site in Verden, you hold overall responsibility for food safety and quality assurance. You lead the site's FSQA team (including QA/QC and sanitation), drive the operational development of quality and food-safety standards, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Acting as the central interface between production, intralogistics and engineering teams, you monitor FSQA performance via KPIs, assess deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). You also lead a three-person team and foster a proactive, prevention-oriented quality culture on-site.
Requirements
- Completed degree in food technology, food chemistry, nutritional science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in food safety and quality assurance in the food industry, combined with leadership experience in a dynamic production environment
- Sound knowledge of relevant food safety standards and certifications (e.g. HACCP, GFSI) and experience preparing and conducting external audits
- Strong understanding of complex production processes and the ability to implement effective cross-functional optimizations
- Data-driven, analytical and solution-oriented working style with a structured, independent approach and confident use of Google Workspace (G-Suite)
- Strong communication skills, confident stakeholder management, and a hands-on mentality
- Fluent English and good German (at least B1/B2 level)
