Description

Zalando is hiring a Process Manager for Warehouse Operations at its logistics centre in Lahr in the Black Forest. You help ensure and improve the efficiency of warehouse processes, using statistical methods to analyse optimisation and improvement potential. You initiate, steer and implement process-optimisation projects measured by operational KPIs, standardise and optimise warehouse processes together with other departments and sites, and implement new dialogues and adjustments in the warehouse management system. You apply lean-management techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and Standard Work, run training and create SOPs. It is an on-site role requiring German at C1 level and good English.

Requirements

Ideally initial professional experience in the described field and in a logistics environment
Knowledge of project management methods
Strong analytical thinking, good comprehension and basic knowledge of creating BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation)
Enjoys constructively questioning process challenges and finding suitable solutions
Strong communication skills, German at C1 level and good English
