Network Deployment Build Lead (Network Technician), AWS

AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring a Network Deployment Build Lead (Network Technician) in Frankfurt to drive the expansion of its next-generation data-centre networks. Working with minimum supervision, you support several data-centre locations, assist with day-to-day capacity management, and coordinate with internal customers and external vendors to roll out established network designs and products. You troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity, participate in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new and upgraded hardware, and specify power and cooling requirements for hardware racking and stacking. The role requires strong enterprise-network knowledge (routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls), familiarity with cabling standards and testing tools (VFL, power meter, OTDR) and very good English.
