Description

As a Junior Transport Manager at Zalando in Berlin, you oversee linehaul transports that connect warehouses and injection hubs across Europe, focusing on customer shipments and returns. You plan, dispatch and track tours in the transport management system and help expand and further develop the transport network. You act as the interface between logistics centres and forwarding agencies and solve day-to-day operational problems with creative ideas. The role requires vocational training as a forwarding agent (or comparable), several years of transport organisation and dispatching experience, basic Excel and fluent English and German.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a forwarding agent or a comparable degree
  • Several years of experience in transport organisation and dispatching
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
  • Confident and convincing under pressure with a good sense of empathy
  • Solution-oriented approach, ability to work independently and strong team spirit
