Description

Rohde & Schwarz is hiring a Senior IDM Test Engineer for its growing team in Leipzig to test identity and access management (IAM/IDM) systems. You develop test strategies, test plans and test cases and execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance and security of IAM systems and applications. You identify and document defects, set up and maintain the required test environments, and work with developers, business analysts and project managers. It is a permanent full-time role requiring strong testing expertise, knowledge of IDM concepts such as RBAC and provisioning, and fluency in German and English.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration/application development, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying, analyzing and resolving complex issues during IDM testing
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases
  • Knowledge of test effort estimation, risk assessment and prioritization
  • Experience in various testing techniques such as functional, integration, performance and security tests
  • Understanding of Identity Management (IDM) concepts, including user provisioning, user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), identity synchronization and password management
  • Sound experience in analyzing log files and effective troubleshooting and debugging in IDM systems
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts and project managers
  • Fluent in German and English
