N26 is seeking an Anti-Financial Crime Subject Matter Expert Data Analyst to join the Global AFC SME team. The role transforms complex data into actionable insights to enhance risk mitigation, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency across First and Second Line teams. It serves as the primary point of contact for AFC data analytics inquiries, ensuring reports are accurate, consistent, and compliant. The analyst provides independent and ad-hoc reports, supports audits with timely data evidence, and designs sampling methods and dashboards for Second Level controls using SQL and Python.

Requirements

  • Ability to translate complex Anti-Financial Crime regulatory requirements into data-driven insights
  • Proven track record as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for complex data querying and extraction
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Looker) to design and maintain dashboards and reports
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and the ability to ensure consistency across reports
