Description

A working-student position for a law student supporting an agile project team at Rohde & Schwarz in Munich with legal expertise in contract law and claim management. The role helps analyse contracts, annexes and service descriptions and research specific contract-law questions, identifying ambiguities, gaps and room for interpretation and developing coherent lines of argument and counter-arguments. It supports the preparation of legal assessments, opinions and letters to customers and subcontractors, and the structuring of claims and claim justifications with their supporting evidence. The student also helps prepare questions for coordination with the legal department, gaining insight into the collaboration between project and legal functions.

Requirements

  • Studying law (Rechtswissenschaften/Jura) with first sound knowledge from your studies
  • Interest in contract law, claim management and the underlying economic context
  • Enjoyment of penetrating complex matters and examining different lines of argument from a legal perspective
  • Structured, careful and self-directed way of working
  • First knowledge of German contract law
