Description

As Lead Group License Management you take responsibility for building, leading and developing REWE Group's central, group-wide license management. In this key role you shape the strategic direction and operational implementation of a company-wide Software Asset Management (SAM) program, ensuring license compliance and realising cost-optimisation potential. You lead and develop a central license management team, steer an external license management provider, and report regularly to senior management on compliance status, license risks and savings. You work cross-functionally with IT procurement, enterprise architecture and product owners to standardise and harmonise license strategies for vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and IBM across all IT units.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in (business) informatics, IT management, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in license or software asset management, ideally in a corporate environment
  • Sound knowledge of software licensing, compliance and contract design
  • Experience with Flexera FNMS or comparable SAM tools
  • Leadership experience managing teams and steering external service providers
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Business-fluent communication in German and English, able to convey complex matters clearly
  • Confident presence toward internal and external stakeholders at all hierarchy levels
  • High degree of responsibility, assertiveness and entrepreneurial thinking
