Description

As an Enterprise Account Engineer II in AWS Enterprise Support, you act as a trusted technical advisor for one or more AWS enterprise customers, guiding them through every stage of their cloud adoption journey. You review cloud architectures, recommend best practices to improve security, performance, resiliency and cost effectiveness, and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks. You collaborate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants and Sales Account Managers and drive technical discussions on incidents, architectural trade-offs and risk management with stakeholders up to senior executives. The role is primarily proactive, helping customers raise their cloud maturity and realize greater value from AWS.

Requirements

Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in three of: compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security or application development in a distributed systems environment
Experience in technical engineering
Experience as a technical lead in an internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment
