Description

trivago N.V., the Düsseldorf-based hotel and travel metasearch company, is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own strategy and execution for its monetization and retention areas. You drive the product vision and roadmap across levers such as loyalty mechanics, pricing optimization, deal value, and retention, backed by quantified opportunities like LTV, contribution margin, and conversion. The role carries genuine commercial ownership, from building business cases and running the experimentation agenda to leading cross-functional teams from insight to shipped product. You partner closely with Analytics, Data Science, UX, Research, and Engineering and mentor less experienced product managers.

Requirements

  • 6-12+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping and scaling complex, data-driven initiatives, ideally spanning monetization, growth, pricing, or retention in a consumer product
  • Strong commercial and analytical rigor, comfortable with experimentation results, cohort analysis, and opportunity sizing, and able to make principled decisions when metrics trade off
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, influencing across functions and levels and driving alignment including with senior leadership
  • Technical fluency: able to partner effectively with engineering and data teams and understand system constraints and trade-offs
  • A high bar for UX and a strong sense of when monetization value and experience feel seamless
  • A genuine learning mindset and a performance mindset with resilience to follow through on ambitious goals
  • An open and curious mindset toward AI tools and automation
