Description

As a Senior Expert Deployment, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of complex new construction, conversion, and transformation projects in the fixed network for Vodafone Germany, ensuring quality, time, and budget targets are met. You will manage cross-functional projects and programs of high strategic relevance, taking responsibility for their successful execution across all project phases. This includes developing and managing demanding project, resource, and schedule plans, leading multidisciplinary project teams, and coordinating collaboration with various departments, service providers, and stakeholders at the management level. You will also identify risks and conflicts early, manage the economic aspects of rollout and transformation initiatives, and drive process improvements. The role involves special tasks and strategically relevant projects on behalf of management.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a deployment environment.
  • In-depth experience in telecommunications technology and in the construction and conversion of telecommunications systems and infrastructures.
  • Strong project management skills and experience applying established project management methods.
  • Excellent communication, assertiveness, and persuasion skills, as well as a high degree of initiative and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Class B driver's license.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (B2 according to CEFR).
