Description

Vodafone is looking for a Senior User Experience Manager B2B in Düsseldorf on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2027 as parental leave cover. The role leads cross-domain projects and coordinates solution design concepts for digital B2B applications with a focus on user experience, usability and frontend quality. You produce or steer the timely delivery of IT solution designs, sign off on solution, interface and detailed designs created by service providers or partners, and consolidate IT effort estimates for solution design, UX/UI and frontend activities. You also evolve the company design system, own lifecycle management for self-service applications and represent the area in expert committees and towards internal customers. Continuous UX and usability optimisation through user research, A/B tests, interviews and benchmarking is part of the job.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in user experience design, a comparable field of study, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Five years of professional experience steering digital UX/UI and product development projects, including at least two years in a telecommunications or eCommerce company.
  • Several years of hands-on experience planning and coordinating user experience projects.
  • Strong expertise in web and app conception, user experience, information architecture, usability and the interplay of business requirements with technical solution architecture.
  • Strong methodological, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to structure complex requirements, prepare decisions and reconcile differing interests.
  • Very good German and English language skills (B2 level per CEFR).
