Technical Account Manager
Description
trivago is looking for a Technical Account Manager in Düsseldorf on a fixed-term contract of roughly one year. You act as the trusted technical consultant for a portfolio of around 20 medium to large advertiser accounts, with a focus on partners across Spain and Latin America. The work sits between complex technical integration and commercial growth: evaluating and implementing API features, conversion tracking and quality assurance initiatives, and monitoring search and conversion API performance for top accounts. You also lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions, support the Sales Account Management teams, and act as incident manager for business-critical advertiser issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing medium to large technical accounts with complex integration requirements
- Strong relationship-building and consultative skills
- Technical knowledge of APIs, conversion tracking, URL-tracking systems and campaign performance optimisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advertisers and internal stakeholders at different levels
- Strong analytical capabilities: preparing in-depth campaign analyses and translating technical insights into business recommendations
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills, with confidence to prioritise initiatives and make decisions affecting broader team objectives
- Collaborative approach with experience refining workflows and improving processes
- A genuine learning mindset and a performance mindset with the resilience to follow through on ambitious goals
- An open and curious attitude toward AI tools and automation
