Working Student - User Support Agent

Description

trivago is looking for a working student to join its User Support Team in Düsseldorf, the first point of contact for the millions of travellers who use trivago every month. You will provide timely and accurate support to user enquiries by email using Zendesk and translation tools, respond to and manage user feedback on third-party review sites, and investigate and report bugs raised by users so the product keeps improving. Working alongside the Agent Services and Support Operations functions, you will explore user issues with stakeholders inside and outside trivago, categorise and channel feedback to the relevant teams, and support initiatives that improve operations and processes. The position is around 20 hours per week and combines campus days in Düsseldorf with one work-from-home day per week.

Requirements

  • Excellent and fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, the company language, with the empathy to convey information clearly
  • A passion for travel and user experience and the ability to put yourself in the user's shoes
  • Currently enrolled at a German university, with a certificate of enrolment required
  • Living within commutable distance of Düsseldorf
  • Available for around 20 hours per week with the flexibility to commute to campus twice a week
  • A genuine learning mindset, approaching challenges with curiosity and seeking out feedback
  • A performance mindset paired with an open, curious approach to AI tools and automation
