Accounts Payable / Receivable Accountant

Senior Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant in trivago's Operational Accounting team in Düsseldorf, responsible for the monthly rhythm of payable and receivable records. You will prepare and review month-end and quarter-end closing tasks, reconciliations, and SOX controls, process customer and vendor tasks, and resolve escalated AP/AR queries. Over time you will own complex reconciliations, improve end-to-end AP and AR processes, support audit requests, and guide less experienced colleagues. The role suits an accounting professional with solid AP/AR grounding, hands-on Microsoft D365 or comparable ERP experience, and the ability to work independently with little oversight.
