Description

iteratec, a developer of custom software systems and digital products, is looking for a working student in software development in Frankfurt. Within project teams, the student takes on manageable but demanding development tasks, contributes ideas to the joint project outcome, and actively integrates AI/GenAI into projects and daily work. Focus areas include agile development with Scrum or Kanban, applications and services with Java and Spring Boot, frontend development with Angular, React or Vue.js, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, cloud solutions on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform, microservices, and topics such as security, machine learning, IoT and blockchain. Candidates should be studying computer science or a related IT field in at least their third semester, have first Java development experience and a strong affinity for AI/GenAI, and work in German-language projects for about 12-20 hours per week (full-time during semester breaks) for at least a year.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in computer science, business informatics, media informatics or a similar IT-related program, at least in the third semester
  • Strong interest in software development and modern development methods
  • First software development experience with Java
  • Strong affinity for AI/GenAI
  • Open and flexible approach to established and new working methods
  • Ability to work in German, the project language
  • Availability of about 12-20 hours per week and enough remaining study time to stay for a year or longer
