Description

This is an apprenticeship as an IT systems electronics technician (IT-Systemelektroniker) with Vodafone in Berlin, starting September 2027, with vocational school also in Berlin. Apprentices work in data centers keeping systems running and catching faults early, and act as field technicians resolving outages while coordinating with other departments and companies. They also learn to safely handle electrical current and test electrical safety measures. One third of the training period is spent at vocational school, and successful graduates are guaranteed a permanent job offer.

Requirements

  • Good secondary school (Realschule) diploma
  • Interest in IT and electrical engineering
  • Enjoys interacting with people and strong communication skills
  • Willingness to perform and take initiative
  • Holds a Class B driving license, or will obtain one shortly after turning 18
  • Good German skills (at least C1 level)
