Senior Business Development Manager – C2B & Retail (f/m/x)

AUTO1 Group SE, Europe's leading digital automotive platform behind wirkaufendeinauto.de, AUTO1.com and Autohero, is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for C2B & Retail. Working directly with the VP Marketing, you build and scale consumer partnerships across Europe with banks, insurers, leasing and mobility companies and comparison platforms. You identify opportunities, build the business case, negotiate with senior counterparts and turn ideas into signed, live and profitable partnerships, then coordinate Tech, Legal and other teams until integrations are live and measurable. The office-based Munich role requires fluent German and English and a strong deal-making and commercial-modelling track record.
Requirements
- Exceptionally strong at structured problem solving; a background in top-tier consulting, strategy or high-growth business development is a strong advantage
- Track record of getting deals done, having built business cases and commercial models and ideally originated, negotiated and scaled partnerships with large corporate partners
- Analytically and commercially very strong, thinking in unit economics, Gross Profit and measurable business outcomes rather than traffic or leads
- Understands enough tech (APIs, widgets, tracking, data flows) to translate a commercial idea into clear requirements and drive implementation
- Can influence without authority, challenging senior stakeholders through facts and persistence
- AI-first, highly driven and comfortable with pressure; fluent German and English are mandatory
