Description

Vodafone is hiring an Account Manager New Business at its Eschborn site to win new B2B customers. You analyse customer requirements and develop customer-specific solution concepts and sales strategies for voice and data applications as well as UCC and ICT solutions. You qualify assigned prospects, acquire new customers, run needs analyses that account for the competitive landscape, arrange appointments with the sales team, prepare and follow up offers, close contracts and evaluate outcomes. The role suits someone with 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in telco or hardware/software/IT products, who sees new-customer acquisition as the highlight of the sales process.

Requirements

1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in telco or hardware/software/IT products
Basic industry knowledge with technical affinity
Goal orientation and the ability to set and prioritise challenging targets
Sees new-customer acquisition as the highlight rather than a chore of the sales process
Good written and spoken English
