Financial Reporting Manager
Description
GetYourGuide is hiring a Financial Reporting Manager within Group Reporting in its Berlin-based Finance function. You will own key parts of the financial reporting cycle, leading the preparation and review of the group's external IFRS financial statements and serving as a technical accounting authority across the business. The role includes drafting technical accounting memos and position papers, monitoring IFRS developments, and driving continuous improvement in reporting processes. It requires 8+ years of financial reporting experience combining Big 4 audit with in-house experience, a strong command of IFRS, and a professional accounting qualification.
Requirements
- 8+ years of financial reporting experience, combining Big 4 audit with in-house or industry experience
- Strong command of IFRS (US GAAP or HGB knowledge is a plus)
- Proven track record preparing and reviewing financial statements and disclosures
- Ability to draft and defend technical accounting positions under scrutiny
- Skilled at working across functions such as Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Corporate Development
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Rigorous and deadline-driven, able to manage competing priorities
