Maintenance Team Lead / State-Certified Technician (m/f/d) - Graben

Description

Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead for our site in Graben near Augsburg. The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to Amazon's commitment to innovation, ensuring that our technologies and tools evolve. As a Senior RME Technician, you will help us stay ahead of developments by using the latest technologies and identifying efficient working methods. You will oversee a maintenance team during a shift, ensuring all employees have the necessary tools and that preventive maintenance is performed to maximize equipment uptime. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of systems and standardization of processes across the EU network, working on-site in a logistics center with shift models that may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training recognized by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK), or proof of successfully completed engineering studies (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related) from a German university or recognized foreign university (BA, B.Sc., MA, M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
  • Additionally, a completed qualification as Industrial Master, Crafts Master, or State-Certified/Recognized Technician, or several years of relevant professional experience
  • Practical experience in leading teams
  • Experience in automation and maintenance of conveyor systems
  • Advanced German language skills in spoken and written, and basic English language skills
