Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience leading a larger and technically diverse engineering organisation, ideally in a fintech environment or SaaS company, with a track record of actively developing internal talent into senior and leadership roles
- Strong background in infrastructure design and implementation, combined with end-to-end system architecture experience across production environments, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, performant and able to serve customers efficiently at scale
- Technical understanding of modern software architectures and software development processes
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and comprehensively to non-technical stakeholders
- Tech and AI affinity: keen interest in modern engineering tools, automation and AI-supported workflows
- Keeping up with technology trends in SaaS and payments
- Business-fluent English, both spoken and written
- Technology experience across several of these areas: mobile (iOS and Android, including Objective-C, Swift and Kotlin Multiplatform)
- Technology experience across several of these areas: backend and web (Python, Java, Django, React, PostgreSQL and Redis)
- Technology experience across several of these areas: cloud and infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines)
